Career Experience
Tutoring community college students in the use of computer software is where I first started my career. I also helped students struggling with English classes to write essays and resumes. Over the years I have helped people with computer forms for tax returns, resumes for job searches and other writing challenges. During my college years, I have helped students who were learning English as a second language to write essays and thesis papers. My teachers often told me I was a good writer and a good editor because I gave kind, honest feedback and really helped the writer to express their unique voice with their work.
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy watching people during the process of telling their own story in their own voice. Helping them with writing mechanics and editing is very rewarding for me. Seeing a person realize their creative potential has always given me positive inspiration for my own work. Being a guide for other writers has taught me to be humble and appreciative. I love to learn from the unique stories and the experiences of others.
